Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about estimates, timelines, permits, payments, and how we work. If you do not see your question here, our team is happy to help directly.
Every project starts with a free consultation and site visit. We meet you at the property, listen to what you want to achieve, and assess the space in person. From there we prepare a detailed, itemized estimate that lays out the scope of work line by line, so you know exactly what is included before you commit to anything.
Every project follows the same five steps: a free consultation and site visit, design and a detailed estimate, permitting and planning, construction with regular updates, and a final walkthrough backed by our warranty. The process is the same whether we are renovating a single bathroom or an entire main floor.
Timelines vary with the scope of the work. A bathroom renovation, a full home addition, and a commercial build-out each follow a different schedule. Your estimate includes a projected timeline for your specific project, and your project manager keeps you updated if anything changes along the way.
Yes. Our team handles permitting as part of every project that requires it, including preparing and submitting the necessary documentation and coordinating inspections. You do not need to manage that process yourself.
Payments are milestone-based, tied to defined stages of the project rather than arbitrary dates. The full payment schedule is set out in your contract before work begins, so there are no surprises partway through the job.
We are based in North York in the GTA and work with homeowners and businesses across all of Ontario. We are willing to take on projects anywhere in the province, so if you are not sure whether your property falls within our service area, contact us and we will confirm.
Yes. All of our work is backed by a warranty. At completion we walk the finished project with you to make sure every detail is right, and if something covered by the warranty comes up afterward, our team takes care of it. The specific warranty terms for your project are included in your contract.
Two things: the size of our team and the scope we cover. We have more than 30 tradespeople, project managers, and coordinators in-house, and we handle design, permitting, demolition, trades, and finishing under one roof. Your project stays with one accountable team from start to finish instead of being passed between companies.
Your project is built by our own in-house crew, not a chain of subcontractors. You also get a dedicated project manager who serves as your single point of contact, keeps the schedule on track, and gives you regular progress updates.
You do, with our guidance. Clients are involved in selections throughout the project, from cabinetry and tile to fixtures and flooring. We walk you through the options, explain the trade-offs in durability and maintenance, and make sure everything we install meets our quality standards.
In many cases, yes. For single-room projects like a bathroom or basement, most clients stay in the home while we work. Larger projects that affect kitchens, main living areas, or whole floors may be easier to live through with temporary arrangements. We will give you an honest recommendation based on your project during the consultation, and our crews keep work areas contained and tidy either way.
Reach out through our quote form or contact page and tell us what you are planning. We will set up a free consultation and site visit at a time that works for you, and you will receive a detailed estimate with no obligation to proceed.
